Students from Dederang Primary School say thank you

Teaching children vital skills and water safety is one of the most important investments the community can make to reduce drownings and it has been proven to be effective. Monika King, who is the School Principal at Dederang Primary School sent us a beautiful email on behalf of her students to say thank you for building their confidence levels and for developing vital water safety skills.

“On behalf of the students of Dederang Primary School I would like to thank you for delivering another enriching and engaging swim program for our Foundation to Year 6 students. Since coming to Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre for our school swim program, our students have not only developed vital skills in the water but have developed confidence and a strong awareness of water safety. Please pass on our thanks to your amazing instructors, who are inclusive of all our students and engage them in all lessons. Our students are amazed at how quickly a 45 minute lesson flies by and they regularly tell us that the week we have swim lessons is the best week of the term”.

“Thank you once again and we look forward to continuing this partnership with you in 2020”.
