This month is the celebration of our seniors within our community and for the City of Wodonga.
Every year our centre is excited to participate in the celebrations of our senior community and we will be holding a variety of morning group fitness classes such as Yoga, Aqua and Tai Chi open to come and try for free from October 8th – 12th.
It promises to be a great week meeting some new faces and getting involved in helping our older adults get active and healthy not just physically but mentally and socially.
We love seeing the current members bringing along their friends and loved ones, as well as getting to see a lot of new smiling faces in the centre enjoying these classes together!
Our older adults hold a special place in our centre and watching the friendships grow to such strong bonds during morning catch ups over coffee, tea and biscuits after classes, birthday and Christmas celebrations shared. Knowing that we get to be a part of these special friendships, and being able to connect with the senior community is something that we are really grateful for.
