What a busy term three it was. We had Belvior Special School, Wodonga Primary Junior School, Osbourne Flat primary School and Barnawartha Primary School participate in their school swimming program this term with us. This saw around 600 students participate in a swimming and water safety program during the term.
You may have noticed several trainee swimming teachers that have been polishing their skills following the Swim Australia swim teacher training course that was held recently with the support of Aquatics and Recreation Victoria and Aligned Leisure and are looking forward to seeing them all progress with their training and become fully qualified teachers in the future.
As the weather starts to warm up it is important to bring a water bottle along with you for your lessons as it is easy to dehydrate even in the pool.
The pool inflatable will be out for a fun session on Tuesday 2nd of October at 12 midday until 1.30pm, so take advantage if your swimming lesson membership and come and have some fun.
Swimming Lessons will resume on Monday 8th October and we look forward to seeing everyone back after the weeks break for the school holidays.
As summer fast approaches it is important that all children are safe around the water. So to help get you started for term 4 swimming lessons we are offering new students their first swimming lesson for free if they enrol during the month of October. So get in quickly to book your lesson as we would hate for anyone to miss this opportunity.
